What the day will look like

Some of your key responsibilities will involve:

• Insurer and underwriter meetings and relationship development
• Technical advice to clients/branches
• Present terms to client/network
• Review / build / improve submissions
• Relationship management both at branch and client level
• Providing benchmarking and placement advice to clients
• Placement and administration of Global risks
• Produce and/or deliver and/or assist on tenders
• Support development goals and day to day functions of the UK Marine Team

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Solid understanding of insurance principles
• Knowledge of Cargo/Goods in Transit Insurance and the Marine Insurance market is desirable
• Experience of handling client relationships
• Experience using your skills to deliver client service
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Excellent understanding & application of compliance and FCA regulation
• A willingness to learn and develop
