The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) welcomes applications for an instructor position in Computer Science. This position is expected to teach all core courses in Computer Science and should be able to teach courses in cloud/edge computing, software engineering, and cybersecurity.

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at FAU consists of 44 faculty and 5 staff members and has a student body of over 1,000 undergraduate and 350 graduate students. EECS offers baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The FAU College of Engineering and Computer Science is in the top three fastest progressing engineering colleges in the nation (US News and World Report Rankings 2020-2022) and is internationally recognized for cutting edge research and education in the areas of computer science, artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, computer engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering and biorobotics, civil, environmental and geomatics engineering, mechanical engineering, and ocean engineering. Applicants must have a doctorate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. Applicants with an MS degree and significant prior experience in the field will also be considered.
